A recognized songwriter for a while now, Jhay Cortez is also being cited as a Latin artist to look out for. After working with his partner Egberto Rosa, on blistering reggaetón tracks for Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam and Yandel, the Puerto Rican singer has been steadily moving forward for the last year, dropping a string of tracks that explain what his own sound is all about. "Se Supone," "Deseos," and "Están Pa´ Mí," where he shares the bill J Balvin, help craft a picture of Cortez calling his own shots. Critics have been heaping praise on him for the last few months, Pandora named him as a 2018 artist to watch, and Mr Balvin says he's "super crazy talented." Check him in action on "Popular" (link below) and see what else his pal J Balvin says about him our interview.
