Schulz: “I definitely do. And I was going to show you my name tag from my office here, and you'll see that. And the reason it's Pig-Pen is because I kind of grew up, you know, sort of as Pig-Pen. I grew up racing dirt bikes, playing in the mud when I was a kid, and my wife still calls me Pig-Pen as she cleans up the house and I don't think Pig-Pen gets his due. You know the first special I worked on was 'Happiness is a Warm Blanket' where we kind of give Pig-Pen his due because he's really the most, you know, grounded - not to be a pun - but most grounded character in the comic strip. He's happy with himself and how he looks and how he behaves and he sees nothing wrong with it.”
