Welcome to kitchen 27, today I will share the fruit taste: moon drop grape. This is my first time seeing this in my local market. It has dark blue-toned skin, pale green flesh and an oval tubular shape, and looks like mini eggplants or a small log. It is a mixed breed grape. The taste is sweet, juicy and crisp, it can be divided into two, revealing translucent green seedless flesh. I feel they are sweeter than ordinary black grape varieties and contain just enough tannins to balance the juicy sweetness. Moon Drop grapes are grown by Grapery in southern San Joaquin Valley, California, and harvested from August to November. If you see this in your local market, I recommend you grab some and taste, it is worth a try, it is yummy and delicious.
