This Midweek Rub clip feature JB and Billy with Spud and Damo and special guest Garry, who has been filling in for JB this week and decided to show again one last time today when he returned. They first discuss ratings and the win Triple M have sustained once again, particularly with viewers 10 years and over, though I don't know if that's a genuine ratings category. Bit of wobble there from the boys. It's then onto the rumour that surfaced this past weekend that Spud would have a stand at the new Bungaree football club named after him, where he confirms again that isn't happening. And he's dirty, because he reckons he help put the new facility together. I don't buy it. Garry has a nice zinger... he reckon they'll name a white picket fence after Chomp Frawley. But promises that he Jim, Bill and Warrior will go to Bungaree and do a function for them (not free, though) if they can get Spud represented somewhere in the facility. They'll even take a pile of wood... actually, Jim won't. He wants cash, after the one time Spud made him do a function where the manager didn't pay them in money. I wonder how they got paid. After the break, Spud talks about his time on the Friday Rub, which is not common for him. And he gives his review of the Chief, in which he once again talks about how he inhaled several Mcdonalds spicy burgers, some with the wrappers still on. It's all in light of the Chief's extraordinary performance this past Sunday on Foxtel's After The Bounce, in which he unleashed a tirade of fury, the likes of which have not been seen for a while. He's come out of his shell, possibly in his Angry Chief persona. It's been a while, so sit back and enjoy it, courtesy of Foxtel. Bill changes the subject to James Frawley and whether he might leave Melbourne, because he thinks Spud has been contacted in regard to his contract. He's adamant no one has contacted him about his contract but concedes a few people have asked what Chip Frawley will do. But it's the way he gets frustrated at the questions even being asked of him, especially the way Damo says that Spud has been drawing the questions from others. It ends with Bill's joke as always, which I thought was one of his best! They think it wasn't too bad but play Plastic just for the hell of it.
