No matter how realistic a war drama may seem, we know that some liberties are going to be taken with the historical events. The World War II drama Midway had some sequences that seemed too out there to be true, and since the film was directed by Roland Emmerich of Independence Day and 2012 fame, you probably weren’t expecting historical accuracy.
