The Summer and Winter Olympics are hosted every four years and countries bid to host the international competition.
➡️ The facts about who has hosted the world’s most famous sports competition holds as follows:
✔️ Europe has hosted 30 times,
✔️ North America has hosted 12 times
✔️ Asia has hosted seven times with two more on the horizon: the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo and the next Winter Games in Beijing in 2022.
✔️ South America also held an Olympics when Brazil was the host country in 2016
But what about Africa? There has never been an Olympics event in this wonderful continent.
