on our day 2 in goa first, we wanted to visit the northernmost parts of goa so we went to Arambol sweet water lake. from sweet water lake, we did a small but very hard trek to the banyan tree. thought the banyan tree is no more it fell in the last cyclone that tore up most of the trees in that area still, people come here to sit and relax. we went at a very wrong time as we did not know when to visit this place as we were coming out people started going in so I would suggest starting this trek around 4 pm so that you can reach here by 4.30 4.45

this is a really hard trek make sure you are wearing a cap and shoes for this trek otherwise it becomes really hard.
