today I m going to share my favourite healthy stew recipe with you!
East European cuisine is so rich in flavors and has a lot of delicious meals to offer. This is just a slight insight of Georgian meals.
Georgian beef stew call Chashushuli is an amazing healthy and keto friendly option to cook when you want to try something new and discover new flavors. You will love the texture of this stew. It tasted much better than it looks.
4 servings - each 464 calories - 43 G protein - 3 g net carbs - 30 g fats
Ingredients
800 g Beef/Veal Goulash
1 Small Onion, chopped
50 g Red Pointed Pepper, diced
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
3 tbsp Butter
3 tbsp Olive oil
Fresh Tomato purée (boil 500 g tomatoes and strain it through a sieve to make purée)
2 tbsp fresh Basil, chopped
2 tbsp fresh Cilantro, chopped
300 ml Water
3/4 tsp Salt or to taste
1/2 tsp Chili powder or to taste (if you like it less spicy - take less)
1/2 tsp freshly ground Black pepper
1/2 tsp Cilantro powder
1 tsp Dried Fenugreek leaves
Covered Cooking time for beef on low flame:
90-120 minutes depending on size of goulash
For veal
40-60 minutes depending on size of goulash
