Follow along with Dr. David Lee as he shows us a great way to massage out any tension in the Tibialis Anterior muscle such as Tibialis Anterior Tendonitis. This form of tendonitis is an irritation and swelling of one of the main tendons that lift the foot up.
Often times, pain in the Tibialis Anterior muscle occurs when the sheath that contains your tibialis anterior muscle is too small. During exercise, as blood flow to the muscle increases, the muscle swells up and presses against the sheath. Pressure builds up inside the sheath, causing pain.
