When Will talks about what helps kids feel better and more comfortable in the hospital, he’s speaking from experience. Before he became a CNA at Children’s Colorado, also called a clinical assistant, he was a patient. Will was hospitalized as a kid for Stevens-Johnson syndrome and says he received "awesome" care here.
“That’s what motivated me to come back as a clinical assistant,” says Will.
Now, he gets to help kids and see the world through their unique perspective, which is the most rewarding part of his job. Experience a day in the life of a pediatric CNA as Will shows you his tricks for helping kids have fun and involving them in their care.
Will also discusses the growth opportunities at Children’s Colorado, how his team makes him feel supported and leadership opportunities he has as a certified nursing assistant.
This is Will’s story — one he hopes will end with him becoming a pediatrician. If you’re interested in writing your story with us as a CNA, please visit: [ Ссылка ]
