The Speaker tore up parliamentary procedures and over-ruled his own officials to permit a vote designed to tie Downing Street's hands, weeks after being labelled a 'bully' in a Brexit debate. A Cabinet minister accused him of 'degrading' his office. The Government then lost the vote, which means Theresa May will have to present a 'Plan B' to MPs within three days if they reject her agreement with Brussels next week. Mr Pincher called Mr Bercow a 'bully' three times and a 'terrible man' when he lectured Commons Leader Andrea Leadsom for taking too long to answer a question during a December Brexit debate.
