Before using the CONN Toolbox, we need to review what functional connectivity is: How did it begin, and what does it look like? In this tutorial, we will give a brief overview of functional connectivity (and the 1990's!), as well as demonstrate how to do a basic functional connectivity analysis in FSL.
If you don't want to use FSL, and only plan on using the CONN toolbox, there's no need to download FSL; you should still be able to follow along and understand the concepts of functional connectivity. If you do want to follow along, you will need to download the following:
