Sing a Song of Patrick is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from Season 5. In this episode, Patrick writes a song called "I Wrote This Song" and submits it to a record label.

Patrick and SpongeBob are immediately kicked out by the radio station, so, finding a different method, Patrick and SpongeBob climb up the radio tower and use a piece of chewed gum to stick the record player to the top of the antenna.

The song is heard throughout the town, which causes rioting, literal head explosions, and a plane crash into a fireworks storage building. The town hates the song so much that they form an angry mob, which is headed by Fred. They yell about how much they hate the song and run Patrick and SpongeBob down to the ground.
