People who actually want to vote will register themselves. People who want to steal votes (or be puppets for those who steal votes) will seek to register others. No where else in history have we tried to register every age-eligible person to vote. Uninformed voters don't make good voters. We have laws against electioneering at polling places, so both parties have sought to move voting off-site so they CAN electioneer. Both parties are crooks. Voting must be in person, on Election DAY (with very few exceptions), followed by hand counts at the precinct level.
