My Pioneer Elite sc-97 9.2 Channel AV surround sound receiver with Dolby Atmos and DTS X, playing a Van Morrison record on the Audio-Technica atlp 60 moving magnet turntable. I cycled between using an external preamplifier from parasound the zpre2 zone pre amp for a second third and fourth zone in the house. Keep in mind the same music is playing in a second Zone being the office. I'm using the KEF omni q 100 bookshelf speakers bi wired with audioquest rocket 33 speaker cables. If you would like to see more of the Pioneer Elite SC 97 videos please let me know and also a video soon comparing the Pioneer Elite to the Marantz flagship sr7010. The Pioneer Elite offers exceptional audio at extremely low and high volumes, with both analog and digital sources. Unfortunately the Pioneer Elite SC 97 does not have a audio graphical user interface or on-screen display when playing audio as the Marantz does. However it does offer a phenomenal amount of wattage and Power being 140 Watts RMS each Channel. This is a bomb-proof receiver, and it has not been calibrated at this point with the mcacc pro calibration microphone. It is at the exact same price point as the flagship receivers from Marantz and similar to Denon Onkyo Yamaha as well as NAD and Integra.
