The BISHNAW Report covers BISHNAW research and activities in Afghanistan, specifically regarding the pressing social and political issues facing the country since 2020. The report highlights the importance of engaging with the realities and agency of Afghan women in any process that has the potential to bring transformation and peace to the country. It also provides an overview of the DROPS incentive for the creation of BISHNAW and the unique approach to research and advocacy that the project uses.
This panel discussion will reflect on the key findings of the report, and prompt a broader consideration of the challenges and opportunities for women's voices in Afghanistan and development.
