Canal Futura, Brazilian television channel, launches next Wednesday (16/02), a video commemorating the International Year of Forests. It will be broadcast on the breaks. All done in animation, the 30-second video highlights the role of forests in people's lives. The headpiece was presented at the opening ceremony that launched the Year of Forests at the UN headquarters in New York, attended by Heads of State and Ministers. The video will be used as part of the campaign throughout the year. A hot site in Portuguese will be available from next month to encourage participation of individuals and institutions in the actions of the International Year of Forests (www.frm.org.br / forests)
