VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Hi, this is Cheyenne with Cloud Adoption Solutions. Today I'm going to be showing you how to use the free Chrome extension Salesforce Inspector to import data into your Salesforce org. And if you haven't already seen part one of this video, I recommend checking it out. In part one, I show you how to export data via Salesforce inspector so that you could edit it and import it back into your org. So using a Salesforce Inspector, I have already exported data from the contact object into a Google sheet. And here, I edited all of the email addresses of the contacts and added an X in front of them. So now I'm going to copy this data and return back to my Salesforce org. And you can see Mr. Andy Young's email does not yet have an X in front of it. So let's open Salesforce inspector and click the Data Import button. And then we're going to choose the action object and format that's relevant to us. That's going to be updating the contact object and then I click on the Data box and paste my data from the Google Sheet. So next, I'm going to click the Import button and we can see that two of them failed, but 18 succeeded. So let's go see if Mr. Young's email is now updated. And it is it's no longer a young@dickinson.com but xa young@dickinson.com. Thanks for watching and see you next time.
