Points to remember:
1. I'm breathing the entire time (seriously- I talk continuously, that means I'm breathing). If you watch carefully, you will see my belly move for normal deep breathing. This is important for using your diaphragm to generate stability in your core. You never want to brace so hard you shut down deep breathing. This is bad for your pelvic floor and can increase your risk of hernias, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic floor dysfunction.
2. This is only the start! Being able to generate some tension is the first step in picking up your kids without worrying about your back but you need a lot more, so please don't stop here!
