HOW TO REACH
An ultra-luxury Limousine bus picked us up from Hanoi Old Quarter and took us to the Port of Departure in 2 and 1/2 hours. We quickly hopped on to a speed boat and in 20 minutes reached Genesis Regal Cruise.
Day 1
Welcomed with a refreshing drink on deck at 12 noon, we munched on a delicious buffet lunch and headed to our senior suite to freshen up. The view from our room was spectacular and our bathtub set Instagram goals. We set out to visit the LIGHT & SHADOW CAVES (Must Visit). "Nothing like i've ever seen, it's just a thing of beauty" is what best describes my thought about the historic caves. We explored these in a local boat, rowed by the locals who sang traditional songs beautifully.
After returning we headed straight to the Sundeck to enjoy a Sunset Party with Cocktails and lip-smacking Vietnamese spring rolls.
Day 2
A 30-minute Tai Chi Session got us geared up for the day. We went Kayaking and saw floating houses of the locals. Later, we went on a bicycle to explore Viet Hai village and learnt about the local life and culture. We further cruised to a natural beach area BA TRAI DAO and enjoyed a relaxing swimming session. In the evening we tried our hands at Squid Fishing followed by the Sunset Party and scrumptious Italian dinner.
Day 3
We loved how energetic the Tai Chi session made us yesterday and went today too. We rowed and kayaked in and around an Oyster farm. We then enjoyed Brunch, checked out and disembarked from the cruise. We went back to the port by a speed boat and from there the Limousine bus dropped us to Hanoi.
