The last few months have been hectic and it's getting tougher to sit and just play, but I was determined to get this cover out before the Thanksgiving holiday. Anyways, this song means a lot to me. Why? Because I miss my home, where I was raised. The things I miss about it however don't really exist any more. And I don't see myself going back any time soon. Maybe someday. Until then, I'll keep listening to this song that makes me think of simpler and better days.
From my favorite TYR album, The Lay of Thrym. I was able to figure the rest of it out when Heri did a quick demo of the intro riff on his youtube channel.
