In this video we'll pick up where we left off in our exploration of the history of Afro-Eurasian Civilizations. Many empires rose and fell during this period, and the steady plod of increased state control of earth's surface continued apace. Jump in and get a sense of the rise and fall of the Han, Tang, and Song of China, the Parthians and Sasanians of Central Asia, and of course the Romans. See how from the disunified remains from the defunct Mauryan empire, Chandra Gupta arose and built his own empire. Lastly, the Dar-Al-Islam will take over more land than any prior empire.
