TAYLOR MILL, Ky. (WKRC) -- A local man is due in court Wednesday morning to faces charges in connection with a fire Tuesday night in Taylor Mill.
41 year-old Ken Brummer has been charged with first degree arson and first degree wanton endangerment for the incident at an apartment building on Sharon Drive. Crews were called there about 10:30 p.m. 33 people had to be evacuated from 11 different units due to the fire which started on the top floor.
Brummer was arrested at the scene and is now at the Kenton County Jail. He is due to be arraigned on the charges at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A Taylor Mill police officer was taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation. He has already been treated and released.
