See, I edited JinMao just for YOU :3c I’m sorry it’s not as polished I would have liked it to be, but as you know I got hit hard by an headache this Saturday so all my editing plans kinda died r i p
In fact, to put things into perspective, I was only halfway with this yesterday LOL so there miiiight have been another reason why I wanted to end the gacha call yesterday, tho I did eat dinner so I didn’t exactly lie… I just left some details out heh
Anyway, I was originally gonna start working on this early bc I thought finally August would be a chill month, which turned out not to be the case… August suddenly got so busy and no its not bc I procrastinated my July away bc of a game (maybe just a bit), but suddenly I had to make up my mind on what I wanted to edit for you and it was while I was settling on a song, I discovered this song! The intro voice over for the song made me instantly think of the scene where Jinshi bangs his head against the wall bc Maomao smiled at him and he’s a weak man, hence I had to edit this song just for that moment alone!
I started Friday picking out scenes and ended up editing most of it yesterday. I think I spent an hour trying to decide on what colors to use and ended up with these kinda retroish colors??? I added the flowers after rewatching your collection (your bday parts for me to be specific) and thought it would be fitting to add some flowers to match yours ♥
I kinda like the scenes I used for the most parts, some parts of the song were hard to work with… Welp I tried! I feel like if I had not been as pressed for time, things would have been more polished and there would have been more fx bits and masks ahhh maybe next time I can give you a less rushed bday AMV!
