Who is The Covert Comic (a.k.a. John Alejandro King)?

Scattered throughout the US Intelligence Community in
Washington DC today are numerous intelligence officials,
who are notorious for their highly unorthodox behavior and/or
viewpoints. These Intelligence Community oddballs constitute
what is nowadays referred to by Washingtonians in the know
as, "The Intelligence Underground". As such, these unique men
and women are maintaining a tradition as old as America’s
Intelligence Community itself.

It’s probably no exaggeration to state that John constitutes
one of the Intelligence Underground’s most prominent members.

John Alejandro King is believed to be the only person to both
have had a poem about the President's Daily Brief published,
and to have published an item (not that poem) in the President’s
Daily Brief.
