November 12th marked the official release of the Sony PS5. I remember scurrying around nervously for a preorder many months ago. The payoff? A launch day Playstation 5 at midnight! Due to COVID 19, I had to schedule my early morning pickup. So I kicked back a Red Bull, flipped on the stream and documented the whole journey. The sheer excitement during unboxing and console setup made it all worthwhile. Sackboy, Demon's Souls, Bugsnax and the many PS4 titles that brandished new PS5 console updates - I was ready to boot up and bunker down!

I played all through the night, hanging with my favorite people.
