This amp was said to cut out after being on for 30 min or so. Before powering it up, I looked for anything obvious, and the tube socket's soldering looked like crap.... so I re-soldered it to my standards. Then, I couldn't produce the issue, even after running the amp for over 5 hours. This is oddly reminiscent of the Fender Blues Jr. from last month.



Dear Manufacturers, please stop soldering tube sockets directly onto PC boards, because it leads to YOUR amps being put in the TRASH...
