The Chicago Bears were the first team to strike in free agency after signing running back D'Andre Swift to a 3-year, $24.5mil contract with $15 mil guaranteed.

Not only that, but the Chicago Bears address their need for a starting safety after signing all-pro safety Kevin Byand to a 2-year, $15mil contract to bolster the secondary.

Jaylon Johnson and Patrick Scales have also both been officially resigned to the roster and will be in the locker room leading the way.
