2022 Oct 10, Mon, 63°F -- Malta is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, that's blessed with gorgeous weather almost all year round. It is one of the warmest European countries. But that doesn't mean, it never rains in Malta. When it rains, it's not shy at all. Today as we embarked to Gozo from Malta by fast ferry, the Gods and Goddesses just dumped buckets of water into our parade. Thunderstorm, heavy rain, and fierce winds scurried people (us included) into safety and withdrawal. However, we made it to Grand Hotel when heavy rain started to dump for about 4-5 hours. Nonetheless, the wet look presents Gozo in a totally different perspective. In this kind of weather, Gozo managed to stay strikingly beautiful in wet look, like those seen in desktop wallpaper background photos. This day we took it easy and leisurely walked the Citadel, plazas, neighborhoods, churches, harbor ... Here's the video of how Gozo looks like when wet. Hope you like this video as much as we enjoyed walking wet in the rain with no umbrella.
