Follow these steps and you will learn how to do it:

1. Open Instagram app on your mobile phone and login to your Instagram profile.
2. Click on the menu icon at the upper right.
3. Proceed to “Settings”.
4. Now go to “Account”.
5. Select “Avatars”.
6. Tap on “Get started” button.
7. Select skin tone for your avatar and press on “Next”.
8. Here you will be able to change the hairstyle, hair color, face shape and other settings. After you are done editing, simply click on “Done” at the top right corner of your screen.

Done!
