Back in July of 2017 I bought myself an AEROLITE 103 ultralight airplane already over 50% completed. When I finally got it to it's new hanger/home I started going over it to make sure he did things right and I discovered more than a few 'construction' errors.
This particular video is NOT about one of those errors. It's actually about the engine mount that I acquired from the guy I bought the engine from. It did not work out with the ease I thought it would. For a few reasons. My reduction drive gearbox needed to be re-positioned 180 degrees to bring thrust line down closer to the chord line of the wings.
This is my very 1st airplane and I am learning a LOT about aircraft construction with each step that I go through. My personal opinion at this point is that one never stops learning. Even when you think you have seen it all, you haven't. Trust me. :)
More updates to come. Stay tuned!
