adidas Originals celebrate the second drop of the SPEZIAL S/S 19 collection with a fashion film directed by &SON Founder, Nick Griffiths. The short follows adidas collector and reggae enthusiast Robert Brooks across London as he details some of the collection’s key pieces. The capsule collection, curated by Gary Aspden, encompasses footwear, apparel and accessories.

Reminiscing on the raves he attended, Brooks outlines the significance of adidas running shoes for him and his peers growing up. Soundtracked by Goldie and Chimpo, the film showcases two unseen sneakers, namely the Earlham, a new update on the adidas Gaea 950, and the collection’s centrepiece, the SILVERBIRCH SPZL sneaker.
