Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan said people age 16 and older who live or work in King County can now directly schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments at vaccination sites run by the city. Residents previously had to sign up for a notification list and use a unique link to schedule vaccine appointments.
As of Monday morning, there were more than 17,000 vaccination appointments available at city-run sites between April 27 and May 3.
Durkan said if vaccine supply and demand remain high in Seattle, the city “could fully vaccinate 70 percent of our workers and residents by the end of May.”
As of April 23, around 61.5% of Seattle residents received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 34.7% of residents were fully vaccinated. [ Ссылка ]
