What to to with overdue incubated eggs?
After 21 days in the incubator, how can I tell if the rest of the eggs will still hatch?
I personally feel comfortable and confident with using the egg viability float test!
In this video , I show you how to figure out if your chicken egg still has a chance of hatching after day 21. This test is NOT 100% accurate, but it’s pretty darn close.
I’ve had about 95% Accuracy in the years I’ve done this test.
BE SURE TO USE WARM WATER to do this egg float test, to prevent possible viable eggs from temperature shock.
