Over 15 years ago, Billy Freeman hand-built a offshore ready, fishing catamaran in his garage. That first Freeman boat opened the eyes of Americans on the big advantages catamarans have when it comes to ride, room, efficiency, etc.
Since then, a number of boat companies (Invincible, Sea Hunter to name a couple) that were known for monohull designs have entered the big Cat space.
This video chronicles a review of the Foilcat 34. I met the company owner Todd on the water, asked him about the boat and he was kind enough to take me out for a ride.
