There are many different ways to make these, I have seen 5 gallon buckets, gallon milk jugs, heavy duty plastic bags and all sorts of random things. I didn't really care to hang any of those on my back patio, even though they would have cost me nothing to make. I made a cute hanging basket that looks nice & produces food.
This is an example of tomatoes, but you could do peppers, herbs, bush beans...so many possibilities!! It's great for urban gardening, or rental properties where you can't dig up the yard!!
Sorry to cut short at the end, Honey Nut has a spring cold & was getting upset because she couldn't figure out how to unlock the screen door & escape. I came so close to getting it done without interruption, but what is life in The Nut House without interruption, right?!
