Join us to discuss Investing in the Future of Ukraine in Europe, on Tuesday, 20th September 2022 from 15:00 to 16:00 CET.

The European Movement International and the European Investment Bank, in the context of the ‘Investing in the Future of Europe’ series of discussions jointly organised since 2017, are bringing together an online high-level panel to debate the reforms and investments needed to build back Ukraine’s economy and infrastructure.

What can the EU do to support Ukraine during Russia’s invasion? How can the EU and its partners invest in the reconstruction of Ukraine? What reforms does Ukraine need to undertake in its path towards EU membership?

The panel will feature:

- Annika Eriksgård, Director for International Economic and Financial Relations, Global Governance, DG ECFIN, European Commission
- Michael Siebert, Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, OSCE, European External Action Service
- Lionel Rapaille, Director for Lending Operations in EU Neighbouring Countries, European Investment Bank
- Tetiana Shevchuk, Head of International Programs, Anti-Corruption Center Ukraine

Moderated by Petros Fassoulas, Secretary General of the European Movement International.

Since 2017, this series of panel discussions has been held across the EU as well as in other neighbouring countries. Designed to discuss the benefits of EU integration, this series is also an opportunity to engage broader civil society to debate about the transformative power and direct benefits of European cooperation.
