Professor Diana Coben, Director of the National Centre of Literacy and Numeracy for Adults, discusses research related to numeracy in the workplace. Diana has researched, undertaken consultancy, taught and published internationally in the fields of: adult numeracy education; the politics of adult education from an international comparative perspective; and the professional development of adult educators. Most recently her research has focussed on numeracy for nursing. Diana is passionately commitment to bringing practitioners and researchers together to improve numeracy in the workplace.
