Whether you think it's cool or gross, the Gum Wall is one of the most visited tourist spots in Seattle, but it hasn't always been so popular. There have been several attempts to get rid of it.

Not so long ago, cleaning crews scraped roughly 2,000 pounds of gum off the wall, yet the attraction just keeps sticking around. Here's a bit of the history.
