Old Cissy - A story from Cardiff, Wales.
Everyone knew Old Cissy from Alice Street. She had a hundred chins which wobbled every time she laughed. And she laughed loud and often. As well as many chins, she also had many husbands. Three to be exact. Having three husbands meant that she could claim three marriage allowances, no wonder she laughed so often. It was a dangerous life but Cissy never got caught and that was one of the benefits of living in a port town. You see, each of her husbands were sailors, and when one went to sea, another came back. The closest she came to getting caught was when she was waving one husband goodbye on the London train while another husband was getting off the same train further down the platform.
