I have made a few videos about the 70mai dash cam's parking surveillance feature, but one of the options confused me. I should simply have said that I didn't understand what it meant. Instead, I guessed and I guessed wrong. Big mistake. 70mai have improved the menu descriptions with the new 70mai A800 4k model and after buying an A800 the confusing option with the 70mai Pro suddenly became clear. Basically, if you connect the dash cam to the car battery so that there is external power when the ignition is off, the dash cam has an option to automatically turn the camera off after a certain length of time if you don't turn it off manually or if you forget to turn it off. It will only do this if the internal G-sensor doesn't detect any motion and it knows that the car is stationary.
