Grab your lederhosen and dirndl and get fitted for the 7th annual East Village Oktoberfest celebration!
• This year, Quartyard has partnered with the East Village Association to host the largest celebration to date, transforming East Village into a modern faced Oktoberfest activation with one-of-a-kind Latin flair for the evolving East Village community.
• Taking place on Saturday, September 30th from 1pm-7pm, the German themed event infused with Mexican verve will feature endless craft beer, traditional Oktoberfest faire, live Polka music and tribute bands, a classic car show and tons of games encouraging guest interaction and maximum fun.
• The lively event will highlight the history of German influence on Mexican lager, music and food.
• Attendees can expect to sample a variety of the best lagers, ales and local brews from Knotty Brewing, Duck Foot Brewing, Fall Brewing, Ketch Brewing, Karl Strauss, 3 Punk Ales, and more!
• Attendees will enjoy traditional German and Mexican faire including favorites like soft pretzels with beer mustard, Bavarian sausages and tacos from vendors including El Rey Tacos a Vapor, TNT Pizza, Papalo Kitchen and many others!
• Amping up in scale, this year’s event will close off Market Street between Park Boulevard and 14th Street and 13th Street between Market Street and Island Avenue allowing for more San Diegans to join in the fun.
• Musicians and neighbors dress the part in classic Oktoberfest apparel like lederhosen and dirndl, transforming the neighborhood into a Munich arts district.
