"Morning Christmas" (AKA "Holy, Holy" and "Holy Evening") was written and sung by The Beach Boys' drummer, Dennis Wilson. He recorded the song in November 1977 at Brother Studio in Santa Monica, California. Dennis submitted the song to The Beach Boys for their planned Christmas album which was rejected by their record company; the album was subsequently released in 1978 as the MIU Album. In 1998, "Morning Christmas" was released along with a few of the rejected Christmas tracks on The Beach Boys' album, Ultimate Christmas.
