basil oil because sometimes looks matter 🕺🏽
blanch for 15 seconds (so the vibrant green color stays), ice bath for a minute, squeeze out all the water you can with a paper towel, blend with olive oil, and strain with a cheesecloth over a sieve
i did around a 1:3 oil to basil ratio - doesn’t have to be precise but definitely a lot more basil than oil! store it in your fridge for a couple weeks :)
