What makes for a good story? In this touching and personal talk, Michele Forman discusses her perspective on triumphant, happy stories, versus those that get overshadowed and lost.
Michele Forman is a filmmaker and the Director of Media Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. An Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker, Michele brought her passion for creativity home to Birmingham in 2003, co-founding the media studies interdisciplinary minor at UAB.
TEDxBirmingham 2014 - "Rediscover the Magic" - was held on March 1, 2014 at UAB's Alys Stephens Center in Birmingham, Alabama. 15 speakers plus several artistic performers spread their ideas with cross-disciplinary mix of attendees from the Magic City, ranging from civic and business leaders to professionals, educators, technologists, and artists.
