Elon Musk’s The Boring Company has been granted approval to expand its Vegas Loop project, adding 25 miles and 18 new stations to the existing underground transport system. The expansion brings the total planned tunnel length to 65 miles and is expected to increase passenger numbers beyond the original target of 57,000 per hour. The Boring Company also has plans to expand the network into residential areas.
