Here are the actual hardware modifications to convert a RAMPS board to work with the Arduino DUE 32-bit proto platform... and it's a long vid! (I also will be upoloading an abridged version for reference). This series is by viewer request: I am not endorsing the mod, nor am I opposing it.
The board alterations themselves are pretty simple, so most of the difficulty lies in planning your peripherals and ensuring compatibility. The video begins with background and information, then the mod itself begins at 23 min, which is followed by some additional thoughts and warnings.
