Here is a super easy recipe on air fryer char siu chicken. This is an air fried bbq chicken recipe that is savory and sweet. If you’re tight on time and just want a quick meal without too much hassle then this is a really easy way to make char siu chicken. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 Ib Chicken thighs
3/4 cup Lee Kum Kee Char Siu sauce
1. Marinate the chicken thighs with 1/2 cup of lee Kum Kee char siu sauce. Place in a zip lock bag and refrigerate. You can marinate for 30 minutes to overnight. But if you're tight on time you can always just cook it right away and have a meal in 30 minutes or less.
2. Oil your air fryer. Choose avocado oil, olive oil etc.
3.Preheat your air fryer 400 F | 204 C
4.Air fry skin side down for 15 minutes.
5. Brush 1/4 more sauce on chicken on both sides. Flip and finish cooking skin side up.
6. Air fry an additional 5 minutes at 400 F | 204 or until cooked through.
7. Enjoy!
TIPS:
Preheat your airfryer
Choose any chicken you like. I like chicken thighs because they come out juicy and I like to choose the one with bone and skin as the skin gets crispy.
