June 10, 1990 - Throughout his Hall of Fame NBA career, Detroit Pistons guard Joe Dumars mastered the art of the classic beginner's dunking habit of grazing just high enough above the rim to technically swoop the ball downward but just gently enough to avoid clanging the rock off the back rim. In this particular instance, his day-up gave him a game-high 33 points, clinching a 121-106 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 3 of the 1990 NBA Finals.
