This Prélude was played at Chopin's own funeral!
It's easy to see why - I can't name many piano compositions that are more beautiful than Chopin's Prélude in E minor (Op. 28, No. 4).

Frédéric Chopin's Prelude in E minor is the fourth of 24 Preludes which he wrote between 1835 and 1839.
Just like Bach's famous set of preludes and fugues, Chopin's Preludes are a journey through all of the major and minor keys.
The Preludes are independent concert pieces dedicated to a specific idea or emotion, or expressing a certain mood.
Today, they are famous repertory pieces, with many pianists recording the whole set.
They are also among the most beautiful classical piano compositions!
